Jade Lou Energy Balls..

Having a mega sweet tooth I’m always on the hunt for healthy sweet things. I love bounce balls, but at £1.99 each! They can get quite pricey.
I developed these two recipes earlier on today and they are delicious, healthy and packed with protein!!

Cacao Energy Balls
Ingredients
1 cup of pitted prunes (you can also use dates)
2 tbsp coconut oil
3/4 cup of almonds 
3/4 cup of walnuts or other nuts
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
2 tbsp Chia seeds
1 scoop protein powder 
1/2 tsp cinnamon 
Method
1. Whizz the nuts and Chia seeds in a food prosessor for a min until a crunchy powder is formed
2. Add the rest of the ingredients and whizz a bit more until the mixture starts to bind together 
3. Roll into balls and refridgerate….how easy is that!!
Protein Peanut Blast Balls
Ingredients
1 cup of pitted prunes (or dates)
2 tbsp of coconut oil
3 tbsp meridian peanut butter
3/4 cup almonds 
2 tbsp Chia seeds
2 scoops of protein powder 
Method
– same as above
